Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations for two separate legal entities, including journal entries, general ledger scrutiny, fixed asset management, expense assessments, and bank transaction oversight.
  • Manage all month-end processes such as journal entry preparation, results evaluation, GL account reconciliations, and the generation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Produce monthly financial summaries for two legal entities and aid in the coordination and completion of annual audits.
  • Offer direction and practical assistance to accounting and operations staff.
  • Support the establishment of appropriate accounting practices, policies, and principles, while suggesting enhancements to systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of accounting standards (US-GAAP).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Oracle Enterprise Business System software and in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Background in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, coupled with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA Certification.
  • Experience within the manufacturing sector, particularly in sales/use tax preparation and familiarity with Concur software.
