Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the management of application operations within Linux environments, executing UNIX commands to maintain both production and non-production systems.
- Deliver Tier III support in alignment with operational and project needs; investigate and resolve production-related challenges.
- Plan and execute significant version upgrades for application servers, including Tomcat and Apache Web Server.
- Follow established change control protocols to ensure smooth application deployments.
- Identify and mitigate application and software-related security vulnerabilities.
- Analyze server configurations to optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with Problem Management to initiate Service Improvement Programs.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing application servers within a corporate environment.
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Linux systems.
- Familiarity with public cloud management, particularly AWS.
- Strong understanding of Windows server environments and application architecture.
- Good knowledge of network topologies and associated technologies.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers, Firewalls, DNS, and similar technologies.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with incident and change management systems, such as ServiceNow.
- Background in hosting enterprise applications on AWS and Azure.
- Strong documentation skills related to production application architecture.
- Familiarity with application and server monitoring tools.
- Understanding of web application security vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant technical certifications.
