US Signal is seeking a skilled Cloud Support Specialist to join our Technical Operations Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer support for our Cloud, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level one and two customer support for Cloud-related issues.
  • Mentor Support Agents to develop their skills.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Linux Server issues using available server access methods.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Cloud-related issues.
  • Special projects and assignments as deemed necessary by USS management.

Requirements:

  • Expert in customer service.
  • Experience with VMWare, Windows Server, and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Experience working with backup and disaster recovery platforms.
  • Familiarity with best practices in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
  • Understanding of virtual environments and overall Cloud infrastructure.

Education and Experience:

  • Technical training in VMware, virtualization, and/or cloud computing.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, or Systems Administration desirable.
  • Experience in Windows Server required.
  • Familiarity with server architecture and design essential.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

Active CCNA (or higher) preferred.
