Core Responsibilities:
  • Identify and clarify client expectations while ensuring the project scope encompasses all necessary requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to confirm that our designs comply with local standards and prioritize public safety while delivering client value.
  • Lead a diverse team of engineers, Graduate Engineers, CAD technicians, consultants, and support personnel in a collaborative environment.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and Graduate Engineers.
  • Manage multiple public projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Provide feedback on quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Represent the organization in business development initiatives with prospective clients and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure that plans, calculations, and specifications are thorough and precise.
  • Address complex design and project management challenges with innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed professional engineer in Texas with 6-15 years of relevant post-graduate experience in public works.
  • Experience in preparing proposals and timelines for multi-phase, multi-discipline projects.
  • Strong organizational skills to proactively manage schedules and mitigate potential issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations and procedures.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, productive setting.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage complex, multi-step tasks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with all stakeholders.
