Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the on-site team from the initiation of construction through to project completion.
  • Identifying and addressing design flaws, scheduling issues, and other project-related challenges proactively.
  • Communicating and clarifying contract scopes to the entire site management team.
  • Facilitating preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before each work phase begins.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of a project production schedule.
  • Reviewing and helping to develop scopes of work for subcontractors.
  • Implementing a Quality Control Plan to ensure project standards are met.
  • Enforcing safety protocols to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Supervising and assessing project personnel while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Maintaining regular communication with owners, construction managers, superintendents, and project coordinators to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer position should possess:
  • 0-5+ years of experience in the construction field.
  • OSHA certification (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
