As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in assisting children, youth, and families in navigating life's challenges by providing essential emotional and behavioral health support. Our collaborative network includes child therapists, psychiatrists, PMHNPs, case managers, educational staff, community partners, and other mental health professionals, all working towards a shared mission. Together, we create a nurturing environment where children and their families can achieve health, hope, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver supportive interventions to children and adolescents.
  • Implement strength-based resilience and skill-building programs tailored to specific populations in various settings.
  • Provide consultation and behavioral intervention services as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate parent-child events to enhance social and emotional development and educate parents on behavior management and resilience.
  • Engage guardians and promote their involvement in the process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service delivery and ensure timely completion of required paperwork.
  • Foster an environment that encourages resilience and positive social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
  • Participate in collaborative team meetings aimed at driving positive community change.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain relevant licensure.

Additional Duties

  • Coordinate referrals to community services as necessary.
  • Advocate for children, adolescents, their families, and childcare providers.
  • Participate in professional development and training sessions.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and a willingness to work with diverse populations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for commuting to assignments.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of college education in Child Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree with appropriate licensure is preferred, along with at least two years of experience working with children and/or adolescents.

This position is based at our Canton/Shipley office.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with licensure status, education, and experience.

Work Hours

Part-time positions are available, with hours typically scheduled between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with additional hours during school breaks.
