Control Systems Technician

Job DescriptionThis role involves installing, testing, and maintaining complex HVAC automation control systems.
Duties include working with vendors to ensure proper installation, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve problems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with HVAC control systems and a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
Responsibilities
- Installs, tests, and maintains complex HVAC automation control systems;
- Works with vendors to ensure proper installation and integration;
- Collaborates with colleagues to resolve system issues;
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED supplemented by three years of experience performing computerized, technical, and/or repair work with HVAC control systems;
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, EPA Certification, and State HVAC Certified Technician License preferred;
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License;
Working Conditions
- Medium physical effort required in medium work with lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling objects and materials of heavy weight (50 - 100 pounds);
- Exposure to damp/wet surfaces, duty conditions, fumes and odors, flammable liquids, and high noise levels;
