About the Role:

Cameron County is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing computerized and technical work in maintenance and/or repair of assigned HVAC automation control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment using multiple HVAC Control management system platforms.
  • Write, modify, code, analyze, enhance, and debug computer control HVAC and Chiller System software.
  • Perform routine maintenance, identify needed corrective actions, answer maintenance questions, and maintain repair documents and records.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by three (3) years of experience performing computerized, technical, and/or repair work with HVAC control systems.
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, EPA Certification, and State HVAC Certified Technician License preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
