Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Tender Care Learning Academy L in Wilmington, DE. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality programs that support the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our young students.

Compensation Package: $55,000 - $70,000 per year (estimated)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with state and national standards
  • Assess and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver integrated programs that support whole-child development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting
  • Certification from Delaware First as a Teacher or higher
  • Bilingual and multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
