Innovative Renal Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, initiating cannulation, and patient observations.
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
- Develop deep relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education on dialysis treatment and self-care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO (or state-approved equivalent) required for experienced technicians.
- New technicians must obtain certification within 18 months of hire.
- BLS/CPR certification required for all technicians.
