Epic Credentialed Trainer

Job Summary:

The Credentialed Trainer I is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to our end-users. This role requires a strong understanding of our electronic health record system and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, including classroom instruction and one-on-one support
  • Collaborate with Principal Trainers and Clinical Informatics Analysts to ensure that training and support are aligned with approved workflows
  • Provide on-site support to end-users, including rounding and attending associate fairs
  • Work with the provisioning team to ensure that associates have completed the necessary training before access is granted
  • Customize and create job aids using approved templates and adhering to standardized style guides
  • Attend meetings and produce deliverables on time, escalating issues or concerns as needed
  • Complete job shadows, deliver training, and support, and build confidence for end-users
  • Function as an advocate for end-users, relaying issues or opportunities for improvement to Principal Trainers
  • Test and troubleshoot the training and build environment
  • Deliver training on workflow-based and role-specific class content, eLearning, job aids, and Learning Home Dashboards

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • One+ year of experience with education, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Preferred experience with adult learners, in-person, and virtual training
  • Previous experience as a Credentialed Trainer, End User, Informaticist, Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or Facilitator for one or more Epic applications is strongly preferred
  • Experience in instructional design, training, using Epic system
  • Experience with multiple full-cycle implementations, post-live support, and quarterly upgrade experience is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience or willingness to learn Excel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Lists required
  • Experience with any industry LMS (Learning Management System) is preferred
  • Proven track-record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Achieve designated Epic Credentialed status within 6 months of hire (or as agreed upon with manager)
  • Cross-training in one or more Epic applications with Credentialed status is expected within one year of hire (or as agreed upon with manager)

8AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday
