At Temple Health, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN to take their career to the next level and work in a fast-paced NSICU environment.



Job Summary

The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. This role requires a high level of knowledge about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice.



Responsibilities



  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs under the direction of the licensed physician

  • Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Collaborate with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to individualize patient care

  • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care

  • Attend all 12 New to Practice (NTP) Seminars and complete an evidence-based practice project



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:





  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or a commitment to obtain BSN within 4 years from date of hire

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

  • Less than 6 months RN experience required to apply

  • Confirmation of successful completion of the NCLEX exam

  • Possession of a Registered Nurse License (RN-LIC) in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
