About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our Prosthodontics team at Dental Associates. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, charts, and radiographs
  • Take and develop X-rays, as well as monitor oxygen levels during nitrous oxide administration
  • Make impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed by dentists
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, as well as disinfect operatory areas
  • Order dental supplies and maintain inventory
  • Provide coverage for Dental Services Representatives during absences or high-volume periods
Requirements
  • Previous Dental Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of state dental practices requirements, including X-ray proficiency and OSHA training
  • Effective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
