About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, including cognitive, affective, and behavioral issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • May provide education and training to staff on behavior management and therapeutic crisis intervention.
  • Coordinate clinical, psychosocial, and educational activities with patients and their families.
  • Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a therapist, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • State or national licensure for professional therapy providers.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification.
  • First aid certification (if required by state or facility).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a residential mental health setting.
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday.
