Lead SOC Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a skilled Senior SOC Infrastructure Architect to enhance our technology architecture division. In this role, you will engage in the exploration and advancement of system-related technologies tailored to meet the demands of our Infrastructure market partners.

Key Responsibilities:

This dynamic position provides the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative setting to:

  • Contribute to the formulation of system architectures for Infrastructure markets, spanning from edge devices to hyperscale systems utilizing Arm technology.
  • Develop and maintain the architecture specifications that outline system topologies integrating Arm compute, security measures, boot strategies, IO interfacing requirements, and other architecture-related aspects.
  • Direct and synchronize the development efforts across various design teams, which includes guiding the creation of functional and performance models, reviewing microarchitectural specifications, and supporting software development (firmware, middleware, operating systems).
  • Establish performance metrics and objectives, collaborating with the performance analysis team to refine outcomes, including anticipated latency and bandwidth targets, Quality of Service (QoS), device IO, and next-generation memory technologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to clarify power expectations across different workloads.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with a proven ability to identify and translate server requirements into effective system solutions and SoC designs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure system architecture requirements, including server-class power management techniques, high-speed IO interfaces such as PCIe and SATA, security protocols, and external SoC system monitoring and remote device management.
  • In-depth understanding of memory and IO systems, alongside systems-level performance modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, comprehensive, and concise written specifications, along with excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
