Key Responsibilities:
The surgical instrument technician plays a vital role in supporting the hospital's operations.

Core Duties:
Accountable for the supply, processing, and distribution (SPD) of materials and equipment to facilitate a wide array of services for St. Peter's Hospital, including nursing, clinical, surgical, and specialized units such as the Operating Room, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Obstetrics, X-ray, and more, all of which depend on SPD for their daily equipment and instrument requirements.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Surgical Instrument Technician Certification (preferred)
Prior experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, along with extensive knowledge of sterilization processes required

Compensation:
$22.54 per hour

Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and education.

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will receive compensation within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.

The compensation range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
