About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in meeting goals and initiatives for the surgery department, including room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
  • Assist in training and orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients and adhere to sterile techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technology program or holds a certificate of surgical technology through the NBSTSA, NCCT, or graduate of a school of practical nursing.
  • Licensure/Certification: If a graduate of a school of practical nursing, current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • BLS healthcare provider training required.
