About the Opportunity
As a Pharmacy Apprentice at Mount Sinai Health System, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medication.
  • Mix pharmaceutical preparations, fill bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and prepare labels for bottles.
  • Fills medications orders for individual patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Receives and stores incoming supplies.
  • Counts stock and enters data into computer systems to maintain inventory records.

Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an accredited (ACPE) College of Pharmacy, end of 3 year or above.
  • 1 year hospital pharmacy setting preferred.

Salary Range:$58,000 - $68,000 per year.
