Job Summary

Melwood is seeking a skilled Workforce Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in promoting employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized employment plans to support participants in achieving their employment goals.
  2. Provide job development services to locate suitable job opportunities and secure interviews.
  3. Collaborate with employers to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  4. Provide ongoing support to participants and employers to ensure successful job retention.
  5. Prepare and maintain comprehensive case records, including vocational plans, case notes, and progress reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of one year of experience in case management working with individuals with disabilities.
