We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Endoscopy to join our team. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procedures and providing exceptional care to our patients.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized perioperative patient plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  2. Protect patients from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources.
  3. Ensure safe operation of equipment and machinery, adhering to standard precautions and protocols.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  5. Administer medications safely and correctly, utilizing the 8 rights of medication administration.
  6. Implement aseptic technique and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  7. Assess patient status at intervals, providing timely interventions to maintain tissue perfusion and overall patient well-being.
  8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of GI, OR, and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.
  • Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
  • Specialty certification in GI Nursing is preferred.
Compensation

Minimum: USD $39.70/Hr.

Maximum: USD $48.22/Hr.
