Job Summary:The Registered Nurse in the NICU will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures.
- 1 year of recent experience in Level III NICU or successful completion of KP Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) course or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
- Registered Nurse License (California)
