Hospice and Palliative Care Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our Hospice and Palliative Care team as a Medical Director. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical component of direct patient care and working closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Duties:

  • Oversight of medical component of direct patient care
  • Accepting patients as the hospice attending physician
  • Providing consultations at the request of community physicians or Bluegrass Care Navigators' Nurse Practitioners
  • Participating in care planning meetings and performing other necessary administrative functions

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky, including a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, or appropriate medical society
  • A minimum of two years of post-residency medical experience required

Estimated Salary: $95.08-$129.94 per hour
