Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform prepress activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work.
  • Establish consistent standards for proofing and plating processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve image-related issues.
  • Advise customer service on preparing customer files for printing.
  • Provide time estimates for required work and follow schedules maintained by the PrePress Manager.
  • Work proficiently in software programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Esko Software.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in prepress, preflighting, and preparing art files for flexographic presses.
  • Experience with digital preparing for print is desirable.
  • Setting up variable data and design experience are a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and composition with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of offset, flexographic, and letterpress processes is preferred.
