Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at IASIS Healthcare. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect life and property of all persons on hospital premises
  • Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Secure, unlock, and protect hospital buildings
  • Respond to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors
  • Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the field of law enforcement, security operations, or a related field is required
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • A current Basic Life Support (CPR) American Red Cross or American Heart Association Provider certification or a CPI certification is preferred
  • Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search
