About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Partners in Dental Care. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to ensure optimal oral health.
  • Perform routine cleanings, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to identify and prevent dental decay and disease.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix software.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs.
Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are required. The ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times is also necessary.

Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year is a must.
