About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at NovaWorks Solutions. As an IT Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Maintain IT Security Requirements: Develop and implement effective IT security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct IT Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential IT security risks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.
  • Develop and Ensure Quality of Work Instructions and Processes: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT security procedures and protocols.
  • Enhance the Internal Control System of IT: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to prevent unauthorized access to IT systems and data.
  • Create Reports on IT Security and Compliance Topics: Develop and present regular reports on IT security and compliance matters to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan and Conduct Reviews, Training, and Awareness Measures: Design and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on IT security best practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Hold an internationally recognized certification such as CISSP, TISP, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of IT security regulations, laws, and standards (e.g. MaRisk, BAIT, CCM, ISO 27001, NIST). Proficient in English and German for communication with national and international departments.
