Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II to establish and implement quality assurance and compliance processes for IT. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT leaders to develop and implement an overall quality maturity roadmap and plan for each IT functional area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish internal IT service quality control standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop, publish, and implement software quality assurance plans.
  • Consult with development, testing, and production teams to develop, publish, and implement software quality assurance plans.
  • Review progress toward software quality assurance plans regularly with IT leadership, technical teams, and internal customers to make modifications as necessary.
  • Monitor, evaluate, manage, and execute audit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quality assurance activities across projects with project managers.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to IT teams on quality assurance methodologies and processes and educate them on their responsibilities/accountabilities to achieve on-time and quality deliverables.
  • Make recommendations and direct improvements to the software development lifecycle process.
  • Document non-compliance to policies, processes, and standards and assist in resolution.
  • Analyze and identify trends in IT performance metrics.
  • Design, monitor, and analyze performance metrics program for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct audits and analyze findings to develop appropriate corrective action recommendations.
  • Provide training on established processes and policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Implementing financial services industry practices, regulations, and processes.
  • Working with end-to-end systems lifecycle development methodologies.
  • Utilizing quality management and improvement methodologies including Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM).
  • Working with quality management methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Utilizing programming languages including Java and JavaScript.
  • Working with Cypress test automation framework.
  • Performing API testing including manual with Postman and automated with RestAssured.
  • Performing data manipulation with SQL, JDBC, and IBM_DB.
  • Implementing performance testing with JMeter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in the above-listed fields.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
