Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables to order.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, burners, fryers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Closely follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, including knives, slicer, salamander, stove, oven, mixer, fryer, woks, and other equipment found within the restaurant.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
