Position Overview:
As an Enterprise Systems Architect at Stryker Corporation, you will be responsible for crafting architectural frameworks for cohesive systems across various platforms throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business and Technical Analysts to comprehend overarching business objectives, outline requirements, and formulate high-level architectural blueprints.
- Ensure the feasibility, functionality, and seamless integration of architecture with existing systems and platforms.
- Design and develop architectural models that align with Stryker's present and future operational needs.
- Review detailed technical documentation, validate configurations within assigned applications, and guarantee that solutions adhere to the technical design strategy.
- Lead the development and implementation of solutions for new systems and enhancements while participating in the establishment of technical standards.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of emerging technologies and oversee all aspects of architectural design.

Mentorship and Guidance:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow Solution Architects, Solution Leads, and Solution Analysts.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing system process flows, performance, and technical efficiencies.

Technology Selection:
- Recommend and deliver holistic solutions that align existing technical standards with business requirements and processes.
- Select appropriate technology platforms for implementing architected solutions.

Supplier Management:
- Manage and coordinate external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they fulfill their contractual obligations, timelines, and performance metrics.

Expertise Development:
- Serve as a domain expert in all facets of architecture, design, and application development.
- Formulate software deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability while assessing technological risks that may impact organizational growth and operations.

Consultation and Documentation:
- Provide consultation on complex projects and act as a top-level technology specialist.
- Draft technical design specifications, including architectural concepts and artifacts, and develop robust integrations with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, and Service Delivery.

Financial Oversight:
- Focus on the financial dimensions of projects, ensuring activities are delivered within budget, maximizing time on value-driven tasks, and confirming that external resources meet their contractual commitments.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (foreign education equivalent accepted) with eight (8) years of experience in SAP development and implementations; or a Master's degree in the same fields with six (6) years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and creating high-level architectural specifications.
- Experience in configuring SAP and conducting SAP ABAP code reviews and debugging within the sales and distribution domain.
- Proven track record in managing external SAP implementation partners to ensure design, build, test, and deployment activities meet contractual obligations.
- Proficient in writing and reviewing technical documentation such as functional design specifications and unit test plans.
- Demonstrated experience in leading scalable solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements.
