Senior Program Manager

As a Senior Program Manager at Amazon Stores, you will lead efforts to improve the workplace environment for employees by developing and executing strategies. You will work with various teams and stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly from pilot to full launch, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), managing timelines, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for in-building deployment initiatives, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, operations, and vendor partners to drive project milestones and deliverables.
- Procurement Management: Coordinate procurement activities, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance evaluation to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for in-building deployment.
- KPI Definition and Monitoring: Define objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success measures to guide project implementation and monitor progress.
- Communication: Effectively communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with leadership teams to provide visibility into project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop a deep understanding of in-building deployment technologies and methodologies, stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in the field, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management, preferably within a large-scale operations environment
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
- PMP Certification or familiarity with continuous improvement, project management principles, and/or Kaizen Six Sigma

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
