Nesco Resource is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Associate to join our team in the Advanced Packaging Lab. This role is based in a state-of-the-art facility focused on the development of innovative solutions for the semiconductor packaging sector.
The Advanced Circuits and Packaging team is dedicated to creating cutting-edge products that tackle the technical challenges faced by leading semiconductor manufacturers. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with experienced scientists and engineers to drive the development of new material formulations and processing techniques.
This position is ideal for candidates with a background in laboratory operations, particularly in clean room settings, and experience in synthesis, formulation, thermal analysis, coating, lamination, and material testing.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting global project teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.
- Executing hands-on laboratory and clean room processes for material formulations, including coating, curing, and metrology.
- Formulating new materials for testing and analysis, contributing to process window development and performance optimization.
- Building strong collaborative relationships with internal analytical teams to facilitate data collection and performance evaluation.
- Communicating research findings effectively to team members with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including international partners.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, product integrity, and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications:
Education: A B.S. or associate degree in chemistry, physics, engineering, or materials science is required.
Preferred Experience: Previous involvement in cross-functional or global semiconductor projects is advantageous.
Note: Candidates with a PhD will not be considered for this position.
