Food Lion Customer Service Leader

Company Overview: Food Lion is a leading grocery retailer in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states, serving over 10 million customers weekly. Our mission is to provide an easy, fresh, and affordable shopping experience.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cashier who will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store office functions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to customers while achieving Food Lion customer service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of office procedures, including cash reports, register checkups, deposits, Western Union, money orders, and Coinstar.
- Ensure store office functions are completed accurately and on time using accounting packets.
- Perform tasks of sales associate when scheduled or as needed per the surge plan guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year.
