The Front End Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our customers. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for providing fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to our customers. This includes greeting each customer, using their name whenever possible, unloading groceries from the cart to the belt, checking for items under the baby seats, and following correct bagging procedures. You will also be responsible for scanning orders, handling payment transactions, and maintaining accurate cash control. Additionally, you will identify customers needing assistance and offer to take their order to their car, including Food Lion To-Go orders if applicable. Your strong communication and customer service skills will enable you to provide top-notch service to our customers. You will work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Customer Service Manager to maintain standards according to the Front End Standard Practice Manual and maximize sales through excellent customer service.
