Reports to: Regional Coordinator for Co-Curricular Programs

Job Summary:

The Campus Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing all Great Hearts Co-Curricular programs at their assigned academy. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating programs such as the After-School Homework Club and Summer Programs. The Campus Coordinator will also serve as a liaison for the coach of the outsourced K-5 athletic program, if applicable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Plan, implement, and evaluate Co-Curricular programs at the assigned academy, including the After-School Homework Club and Summer Programs.
  • Assistance with Research & Development: Assist the Regional Manager in gathering information needed to create new co-curricular offerings for the Texas network.
  • Mission Alignment: Adhere to the vision of Great Hearts Academies by stewarding existing co-curricular programs that extend the high-minded teachings of the regular school day.
  • Curriculum Implementation and Development: Implement the Great Hearts Co-Curriculars curriculum in each of the programs overseen at the assigned academy.
  • Human Capital: Manage the human capital for the co-curricular programs on the assigned campus, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff members.
  • Teacher Training & Support: Ensure that all staff members in the programs are properly trained in Great Hearts policy & procedure, curriculum, student health and safety, discipline, customer service, program-based training, etc.
  • Fiscal Responsibilities: Manage the budget for the programs in the assigned purview, including submitting projected and actual budgets to the Regional Manager.
  • Enrollment Growth & Management: Monitor the enrollment of the programs at the assigned academy and execute growth initiatives to achieve enrollment growth goals.
  • Service to the Academies: Cultivate close, productive, and diplomatic relationships with the Headmaster, Office Manager, and other key personnel at the assigned academy.
  • Quality Assurance: Work to improve teacher performance and programmatic excellence through regular observation, training, and feedback.
  • Customer Service Issues: Monitor and address any and all customer service issues, and report them weekly to the Regional Manager.
  • Accident, Incident, Behavior Issues: Monitor and handle any and all situations that may be a liability to the program, and document and report them as necessary.
  • Marketing: Execute the marketing plan for the programs on the assigned campus, under the guidance of the Regional Manager.
  • Regular Team Meetings: Organize and meet with staff members weekly for updates, planning, and training, and to foster team collaboration and communication.
  • Reporting/Collaboration: Submit a weekly report to the Regional Manager, and meet bi-monthly with the Co-Curriculars leadership team and other Campus Coordinators to discuss updates, collaborate, and receive further training.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Principled, professional, experienced leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others.
  • Skills: Sound business judgment, extreme tact, diplomacy, and wisdom dealing with people; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google suite preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check.
  • Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately.
