We are seeking a highly skilled Production Associate to join our team at Airgas. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for safely filling industrial, medical, and specialty gas products into liquid gas cylinders, complying with regulations and Airgas' standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
  • Conduct pre-fill and post-fill inspections, adhering to standard procedures.
  • Fill cylinders accurately, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly plant appearance.
  • Backup Driver Responsibilities:
    • Deliver compressed gas cylinders and liquid cylinders to customers on a scheduled route.
    • Load and unload trucks, pick up empty cylinders, and return them to the plant for refilling.
    • Maintain proper vehicle documentation and a professional appearance.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
  • Familiarity with safety data sheets and ability to follow instructions.
  • No disqualifications from driving a commercial motor vehicle within the last seven years.
  • Minimal driving violations in the last three years.
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and airbrakes required.
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience with Straight Truck or Bulk Straight Truck or Driving School Certificate.
