Job Title: RN - Healthcare Professional

As a Med Surgical Registered Nurse at Taylor Hospital, you will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessing Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Developing Individualized Plans of Care: Create personalized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Performing Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support.
  • Equipment Utilization: Utilize medical equipment and technology to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Documenting Nursing Process: Accurately document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Mandated and Permissive Reporter Training: Participate in training programs to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current PA RN License: Possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • BSN preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred, but not required.
  • BCLS certification: Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
