Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in the Ridley Park area. As an LPN with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide patient and family education on healthcare management, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families throughout the care continuum.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
  • One year of pediatrics experience (South Carolina), one year of experience working under current nursing license (California), or six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
  • Visual and hearing acuity.
