Position Summary

ES3 is a dynamic and rapidly expanding mid-sized aerospace and technology firm, actively seeking Entry Level and Mid-Level Mechanical Engineers. The role involves a range of mechanical engineering tasks, including but not limited to: reverse engineering, classical stress analysis, finite element analysis, modeling, and requirements analysis for aircraft systems. Candidates should be adept at reading and producing detailed drawings for component and system designs. This multifaceted role demands a variety of engineering skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving, self-motivation, and teamwork.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in 3D CAD Modeling - SolidWorks or similar
  • Finite Element Analysis proficiency
  • Classical Stress Analysis expertise
  • System Level Integration knowledge
  • Requirements Analysis capabilities
  • Familiarity with Composite Materials
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Technical Writing proficiency

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 0-5 years of experience in aerospace or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Candidates must undergo a background investigation and be eligible for a U.S. Government Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
