Key Responsibilities
- Document, file, and oversee insurance claims while maintaining injury logs.
- Develop and format safety communications, incident notifications, and internal messaging regarding safety initiatives.
- Organize, maintain, and electronically track all contracts, insurance certificates, and bonds for construction projects.
- Conduct initial reviews of contract language and insurance stipulations for adherence to company standards.
- Assist with enrollment processes for OCIP/CCIP projects as necessary.
- Manage Safety Data Management Systems by monitoring reports, updating access for new hires, and sharing analytics.
- Support prequalification processes and related systems.
- Facilitate training and educational initiatives by scheduling, tracking, and filing relevant documentation.
- Assist the Fleet Safety Manager with fleet-related responsibilities, including MVRs and incident reporting.
- Process requests for insurance certificates and bonds, including renewals, and communicate with clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with clients to manage specific contractual terms.
- Oversee the internal contract review process.
- Act as a liaison between operations and clients for contract and insurance inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) or the ability to obtain it within 1-2 years.
- Risk and Insurance Management Society Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) or the ability to achieve it within 1-2 years.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in the AEC industry.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint software is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience with ProCore software is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of project contracts and change order documentation.
- Ability to cultivate relationships while demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and writing capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to new technologies.
