Clinical Laboratory Support Assistant
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Support Assistant to join our team at SUNY Upstate Medical University. As a Clinical Laboratory Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing assistance in performing laboratory testing, receiving specimens, and logging them into our computer system. You will also process specimens, answer phones, and assist technologists in performing work. If licensed or has a limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will also perform laboratory testing.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* AAS in Science related field or pertinent college level courses, preferably related to the medical field
* Will consider a combination of equivalent relevant education and experience
* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Work Days: Monday - Friday, Days with rotating weekend and holidays
