Responsibilities- Prepare dialysis equipment and treatment supplies to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes with physicians and families
- Administer and chart prescribed medications
- Follow infection control regulations and participate in patient care conferences
- Document patient education efforts and facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist with medication inventory maintenance and lead a small patient care team
