Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Design: Assist in the planning and design of oil and gas infrastructure projects, including well pads, access roads, and storm water facilities serving oil and gas wells, pipelines, storage facilities, compressor sites, and processing plants.
  • Site Evaluations and Assessments: Conduct site evaluations and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements.
  • Technical Document Preparation: Prepare and review technical documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve engineering issues and optimize project outcomes.
  • Design and Modeling: Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs and models.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification: EIT certification.
  • Industry Software: Familiarity with industry software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to oil and gas engineering.
  • Environmental and Construction Laws: Basic understanding of relevant environmental and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
  • Self-Leadership and Prioritization: Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
Preferred Experience
  • Internship or Work Experience: Previous internship or work experience related to site survey, mapping, civil construction, or site design.
  • Public Land Survey System: Knowledge of the Public Land Survey System and section breakdowns.
Work Environment

This role may require occasional travel to project sites and the ability to work both in an office setting and in the field.
