Job Title: Client Service Associate

Job Summary:

The Client Service Associate is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our custody clients, custody officers, and other qualified referral sources. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple time-sensitive tasks for internal and external clients, including account opening and closing, client correspondence, asset gathering, and trade settlements.
  • Master the account opening process for all custody accounts and serve as the first point of contact for family offices and outside investment managers.
  • Coordinate client meetings for custody officers and assist in meeting preparation.
  • Manage account cash balances to prevent overdrafts and coordinate trade settlements with outside advisors.
  • Maintain accurate client data on SEI SWP, Orion, and OnBase systems.
  • Administer complex processes in support of client needs and contribute to process improvement ideas.
  • Provide backup and support for retirement services group by processing pension payments and reporting.
  • Initiate client-directed trades in Orion for custody group clients and assist in daily support of the Orion system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; 4-year college degree in business administration, finance, or a related major preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative client service preferred.
  • General knowledge of investment markets or account administration required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Experience with trust accounting and/or investment systems preferred.
  • Ability to manage priorities, be organized, and have an adjustable social style required.
  • Initiative and ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently required.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary and investment principles, securities processing and clearing, trust & accounting systems, and technology to support recordkeeping and payment history required.
