Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of project contract documents, including project schedules and budgets.
  • Manage project budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with project teams, including superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract-specific terms and conditions for estimating.
  • Assist in the management of master submittal schedules and submittal logs.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve project-specific issues.
  • Process construction documentation and assist with close-out activities.
  • Manage owner change order requests from RFP to submission of change order.
  • Prepare and distribute subcontractor change orders and associated budget revisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly applications for payment.
  • Participate in trade pre-construction meetings to review project requirements.
  • Take minutes of owner and subcontractor meetings.
  • May independently manage small construction projects of limited scope and complexity.
  • Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System by committing to safe work practices and eliminating hazards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of progressive construction-related experience.
  • Strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members.
  • Organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple deliverables with changing deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with scheduling software, Textura, CMiC, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Approach every responsibility with a high level of integrity, fairness, care, and concern.
  • Lead forward by seeing challenges as opportunities for growth and solutions.
  • Consistently deliver beyond expectations to provide exceptional results.
  • Some periodic travel may be required.
