Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of project contract documents, including project schedules and budgets.
- Manage project budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with project teams, including superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and issue subcontract-specific terms and conditions for estimating.
- Assist in the management of master submittal schedules and submittal logs.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve project-specific issues.
- Process construction documentation and assist with close-out activities.
- Manage owner change order requests from RFP to submission of change order.
- Prepare and distribute subcontractor change orders and associated budget revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly applications for payment.
- Participate in trade pre-construction meetings to review project requirements.
- Take minutes of owner and subcontractor meetings.
- May independently manage small construction projects of limited scope and complexity.
- Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System by committing to safe work practices and eliminating hazards.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2-5 years of progressive construction-related experience.
- Strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members.
- Organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple deliverables with changing deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with scheduling software, Textura, CMiC, and Bluebeam preferred.
- Approach every responsibility with a high level of integrity, fairness, care, and concern.
- Lead forward by seeing challenges as opportunities for growth and solutions.
- Consistently deliver beyond expectations to provide exceptional results.
- Some periodic travel may be required.
