We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Technician to join our team at PELICAN. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for Process Engineering, including setup and operation of metrology and supporting tools.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct technical tests and experiments to optimize process equipment and qualify processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, charts, and graphs of test results.
- Operate metrology tools, including TEM, Dual Beam, light microscopes, and sputtering tools, to ensure process quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot process problems and implement solutions.
- Perform minor electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on equipment and perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
- Operate Dual Beam (SEM and FIB), TEM, light microscopes, deposition equipment, and metrology tools to support process development and optimization.
- 3-4 years of experience in semiconductor processing, preferably in thin film deposition or etch, in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Strong technical and hands-on skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of EDS, EELS, PEELS, and STEM is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment, with mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds.
