Medical Dosimetry Specialist II

Estimated Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year
Baylor Scott & White Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetry Specialist II to join our radiation oncology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing radiation treatment plans for cancer patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical dosimetry, excellent communication skills, and experience working with radiation therapy equipment. You will work collaboratively with our team of medical physicists and radiation oncologists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of radiation treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement radiation treatment plans for cancer patients
- Work with medical physicists and radiation oncologists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of radiation treatments
- Mentor junior dosimetrists and physics residents
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Medical Dosimetrist certification
- 3+ years of experience in medical dosimetry
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with radiation therapy equipment
