About the Role:

Duke Health is seeking a highly skilled Imaging Department Manager to lead our Radiology team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing all clinical operations, including equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial, and customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage customer-scheduling procedures and ensure all personnel are properly trained on equipment.
  • Evaluate and recommend supplies, equipment, and technologies to support departmental needs.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain liaison with physicians, research personnel, and staff to resolve problems and advise on technical procedures.

Requirements:

  • Required registry/certification in applicable imaging modality.
  • Three years of team leader/supervisory experience in an imaging modality or two years of experience in an imaging modality and three years of team leader/supervisory experience in a non-Radiology area.
  • Certification as prescribed by ARRT, ARDMS/CCI, and/or NMTCB.
  • BLS certification.
