Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in IT, Business Continuity, Communication, and/or Banking Operations.
7 years of experience in Finance, Regulatory, and Compliance.
7 years of experience in Retail Banking.
7 years of experience with Banking Center technology and applications.
5 years of experience in Data tracking, analytics, and reporting.
5 years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
3 years of Project Management experience.
Job Description
The Retail Banking Incident Manager oversees the lifecycle of all unforeseen disruptions, malfunctions, and quality issues related to applications, hardware, infrastructure, or facilities affecting the Retail Banking sector.
The primary objective is to adhere to incident management protocols and act as a liaison between the incident response team, various Business Units, and banking centers.
The Incident Manager will compile statistics, KPIs, and trend reports, identify issues through thorough reviews, and focus on process optimization while collaborating with other business unit incident management teams to ensure all protocols are meticulously followed.
Position Responsibilities
- Incident Management
Oversee the incident management process for the Retail Banking sector.
Triage incidents, evaluate their impact on the Retail Banking sector and Banking Centers, and accurately represent the consequences to ensure proper prioritization. - Gather and provide data to aid in troubleshooting and remediation efforts.
Understand downstream impacts concerning risk, compliance, and customer service. - Support Technology & Operations in resolving incidents swiftly and effectively.
Serve as a point of escalation for technical and general troubleshooting issues.
Provide second-line support for incident management challenges related to select applications.
Offer support in a 24x7 data center and/or 24x7 on-call capacity. - Act as a representative for the Retail Banking sector on the National Business Continuity Planning Team.
Reporting and Analytics
Track incidents and create dashboards to monitor issues.
Utilize reporting to identify trends or highlight recurring problems.
Establish and manage a resource repository.
Process Mapping and Improvements
Analyze, create, and/or enhance alternative processes for use during outages.
Participate in and provide consulting and planning guidance for both short-term and long-term strategies to meet ongoing business and operational needs.
Identify and assess projects/programs/initiatives and design processes that improve and rationalize existing and upcoming solutions.
Communication
Alert and update Senior Management.
Communicate with frontline staff and stakeholders.
Provide concise updates to ensure awareness.
