Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight of operations and maintenance, repair, and construction work
  • Oversee and coordinate activities with trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment

  • Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders
  • Assist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution, and administration
  • Assist the CO and COTR with conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR
  • Provide invoice supporting information to the COTR for payment
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets; provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction-related issues; direct design efforts; recommend construction documents for approval; and provide oversight of any follow-on maintenance programs
  • Optimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements
  • Conduct design reviews with the customer
  • Ensure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into MAXIMO software project management tool. This requirement applies to all projects, work orders, and tasks across the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure integration of all systems, including information technology, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Prepare Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Twelve (12) years' of experience in civil engineering
  • Five (5) years' of specialized experience in the assigned field (e.g. high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, etc.)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration desired Minimum five (5) years' experience in physical security, including three (3) years' experience in construction security of USG or commercial facilities
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience applying... This requirement is classified and is available on the high side. Please work with your company's designated POC to obtain this information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Work in an operationally sensitive environment
  • Work outdoors, in confined space, irregular schedule, working off-shift/rotating schedule, operation of motor vehicles, work in a noisy environment, work under unusual lighting conditions, work near sources of ionizing radiation, work near sources of non-ionizing radiation, headgear or head protection, safety glasses or eye protection, hearing protection, gloves or hand protection, safety shoes or protective foot gear

  • Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more
