Position Summary:

Lakeland Monroe Group is in search of a proficient Maintenance Technician to guarantee the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art robotic painting and finishing systems. The ideal candidate will engage in hands-on maintenance activities, encompassing the repair, installation, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, conducting routine inspections, and executing preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on various equipment, including molding machines, compressors, dryers, and general building apparatus.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and facilities as they occur.
  • Utilize information to identify and rectify problems effectively.
  • Employ various meters to measure voltage, temperature, current, and airflow.
  • Apply knowledge of fundamental components and functions of electrical and hydraulic systems to perform necessary repairs.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams, with the ability to interpret operational information and instructions, including timing and flow charts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A one-year certificate from a college or technical school combined with three years of relevant experience in machinery and facilities maintenance; or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Must be capable of standing, walking, and operating equipment for prolonged periods.
  • May require working in varying temperatures and conditions.
